As an audit senior in their team, you will have responsibility for leading and managing on-site audit engagements for a range of different organisations. You will manage the work of trainee staff and report directly to the Director and in some instances the Partners also. This audit department offers staff a system of structured progression into senior management positions.

Audit Senior – Dublin

Our client is recruiting an audit senior for an immediate start. The new recruit will join their Audit & Advisory department. The position involves working as part of a team on a number of audit assignments across a wide range of industry sectors and specialist fields. They are looking for a candidate who is seeking to build a career in a busy and expanding audit department.

Key accountabilities:

  • Will be responsible for all stages of audits including planning, execution and completion
  • Will be the main point of contact during onsite audit field work with clients, and responsible for communicating with, and managing client expectations
  • Will be required to work across a wide range of audit assignments and work on multiple teams
  • Prepare company financial statements under FRS 102 & IFRS
  • Time management, work in progress management, delegation, use of initiative, excellent communication and assertiveness are skills required for this level
  • Adhering to budgets and ensure deadlines are met will be a key element to the role


  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA), with strong technical knowledge
  • Previous employment in an audit department
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills and client service ethos
  • Self-motivated with drive, enthusiasm and commitment

My client is seeking an experienced Tax Senior who will join their tax Department. Working closely with the Tax Partner, this role will be varied and the successful candidate will be expected to assist clients (corporate & personal) with all tax matters.

Duties include – Reviewing Corporation & Income tax computations, Review of Audit files for all tax issues, Tax research, working with the Tax Partner on consultancy assignments, advising clients on personal tax issues, and total exposure to all clients of the practice.

Ideal candidates should preferably be a qualified AITI, an Accountancy Qualification would be a distinct advantage and a number of years’ experience within the tax department of a quality practice.

My client is a busy Accountancy Practice in South Dublin and they require a Trainee Accountant.

The trainee should ideally have a minimum of 12 months practice experience.

The ideal candidate should have a high level of numeric accuracy, have the aptitude to work on their own initiative, be ambitious and be enthusiastic. Exceptional written and spoken English will be necessary and an ACCA or CPA qualification an advantage.
